Everyone be sure to wear your club shirt.  If you don't have one, wear your club hat or a RFTH event tshirt.
There are three kinds of men:

1.    The ones that learn by reading.
2.    The few who learn by observation.
3.    The rest of them have to pee on the electric fence and find out for themselves.    Will Rogers

Ok so it looks like All my troubles are fixed with the Fiero - Timing is not back firing and Shifting is back to normal.

I am still jittering at cruise. but I can fix that later if there is a fix.

We will leave at 130pm to head that way - Probably late for the fun but we will come out to support.

See you all then..

Randy, is there any way you can get there in time to get the car into the show before noon?  Judging starts at 1 but most of the lanes will be covered with chairs and canopies probably by noon so you can't drive into stage with us.  You could still enter under the Georgia Fiero Club banner, though and give us another car on the list for best participation.

It's my understanding (I could be wrong. Happened once.) that judging begins at noon. I'll talk with Bo to find out.
I'm happy that so many folks are coming. Last years event was one of the most relaxing, laid back car shows that I've ever attended.

Did I mention that motorcycles are welcome, too? Don? David? Ron?

We're up to 14 cars.  Keep them coming.

I'm also bringing the G6. Unless you already counted it, that makes 15.

None of my bikes are "Show" quality. They are all riders.

We've lost one of our drivers for the cars I have out here.  One of Ray's friends has had some problems with his diabetes, nearly having passed out while they were having lunch together.  If we have someone who can drive the club car, I can get it to you, tomorrow, Friday.

Change of Plans - It looks like I am coming Solo for the day so I can be there early enough to register with the club and get a spot.

The Boy Scouts have offered to let us bring the Warrior Project car out and display it at our tent if we can get it out there.  Anyone?

TRAFFIC DELAYS THIS WEEKEND NEAR CAR SHOW

From the Atlanta Journal-Constitution

“Wise metro motorists will remember where they don’t want to be – I-285 on the northwest side and I-20 anywhere,” GDOT spokesman David Spear said.

From 9am Friday, though 5am Monday, two westbound lanes blocked between Liberty and Post roads (exit for the car show).  Hope the show organizers are aware of this?

We're now at 14 cars.  Steve, can you get two rows of 7 each?

Liberty Road is actually west of Post Road. Hard to say how badly it will affect traffic before the Post Rd. exit.
I would recommend exiting at Highway 5 (the exit before Post Road) and turn right (North) to Hwy 78. Stay in the center lane, and go straight for about a mile.
Highway 5 dead-ends into Hwy 78, about a mile north of I-20. Turn left, and follow Hwy 78 to Post Road (It's about 3 miles) and turn to the left onto Post Rd. (Post Road meets Hwy 78 at an angle. It's less than a 90 degree turn. There are signs, but it's easy to drive past.)
After you turn onto Post Rd, you're less than a mile from I-20.
Once you cross the bridge over I-20, you'll go .9 miles to Ephesus Church Road. Turn right at the redlight.
Clinton Park is ~ 1 mile down on the right.

(For what it's worth, Hwy 78 runs parallel to - and slightly north of - I-20, all the way to Alabama.)
