thanks for all the info guys, and i'm not sure about the radial's with the raised white lettering being discontinued.  as far as i know i've been calling a lot of places lately and most shops carry them that way in this size.

So the computer has been changed but the fiero still wont start, my friend told me that he was told the motor isnt getting any power, which i dont know what that means (not good with cars). And this blows because I wanted to have this thing running by the time it was nice out, which now it is but it still wont run!  So what else is there to do, im sure some of you guys have either come across the same problem or you can give me some more info.  Thanks again guys!

There's 2 fuseable links next to the battery, I'd check them after checking the battery connections.

Robbie's got you on the right track if a fully charged battery won't make the starter operate.  If the engine will turn with the starter, then try the ignition module.  A common problem with the V6 is the ignition module inside the distributor.  To test it to see if the engine is 'getting power', remove one of the spark plug wires, insert a sparkplug into the rubber boot and hold the metal side of it against the dogbone bracket.  Have a helper try to start the car.  You should see spark from the plug.  An absence of spark will generally be the ignition module.  Advance and AutoZone sell them for around $40 with a lifetime warranty.

If you are getting a spark from the plug, remove the long rubber intake tube on the left side of the manifold.  You can use some WD40 to spray a shot inside the throttle body while having a helper try to start the engine.  If it fires, then you likely have a fuel pump problem or a pump relay problem.

First thing to do, though is to check all your fuses underneath the left side of the instrument panel.

1.    The ones that learn by reading.
2.    The few who learn by observation.
3.    The rest of them have to pee on the electric fence and find out for themselves.    Will Rogers
