Seems like years back someone on Pennocks did it.  I remember seeing a picture with the bottle in the trunk, but I don't remember what engine was in the car.  You would certainly need a refreshed engine.  I wouldn't want to put a 50 or 75 shot NOS onto an old engine.

1.    The ones that learn by reading.
2.    The few who learn by observation.
3.    The rest of them have to pee on the electric fence and find out for themselves.    Will Rogers

There have been a few people do it. It usually results in blown head gaskets or cracked engine parts.
I understand that it gets "addictive".
With the hot rod mentality of "If 'more' is enough, then 'too much' is just right", it can cause you to lose focus, in search of a few more horsepower/KW.

NOS is added in the 3rd video, but you might want to watch them all.

Gotta love youtube.  The 3 videos above all died.

A turbo seems to be a more sustainable performance mod on a Fiero.  A turbo 2.8 is quick.  Not fast, but it sure is fun.

The videos were pulled for copyright infringement. After all, I did copy them from a TV show.
