Planning on attending, however, i may arrive fashionably late  late, as my youngest has testing that morning for school and i want to be there with him, then I'll haul (donkey) up the trail. Eta will be 1230-ish.

That shouldn't be a problem.  Hope we will hang around for 2 or 3 hours, at least.
There are three kinds of men:

1.    The ones that learn by reading.
2.    The few who learn by observation.
3.    The rest of them have to pee on the electric fence and find out for themselves.    Will Rogers

I'm planning on being there, too. May miss the meeting this week, however.

Is this still "a go"?
Some entities are predicting 1-2" of snow in NE Georgia.

Obviously, stuff can change. Are we just going to play it by ear?
Does anyone in the club live up in that area, who can be a "set of eyes" for us, that morning?

How about I get them to put "Snow Date Feb. 27"?  We'll play it by ear and make the decision on Friday?  The Rome Sonic General Manager hasn't sshown much interest.  She's always in a meeting or is busy at the moment and will call me back.  This has been going on for 5 days.  I've called every day except today.

It's all good, Charlie. Obviously, we'll have to postpone if it's ugly out.
I was just thinking out loud, more than anything.

I didn't mean to come off as sounding snippy.  Yesterday was a trying day.

The forecast has been all over the place from near 50* and sunny to whatever it was last night.  Snow, I think for Toccoa.  I don't want anyone hitting a patch of ice and losing control.  They don't have an inside dining area, so we would also be sitting outside in the elements.

You didn't come off snippy at all.
More like me, rambling... :D

Maybe it won't snow. Or maybe we'll get a foot.
Probably depends upon who you want to listen to, right up until it happens.

Hope everything is going okay. I'll call you, if Toccoa is cancelled, if not before.

According to the weatherbug, there is a 50% chance of snow. Who's for waiting to see what it does Friday night to make a decision?

I talked to the manager and she says they're saying that if it isn't sowing at the time, there is a good chance of accumulation Friday night into Saturday morning.  She gave me her cell number to find out what their local forecast is, as of Friday mid day to 6pm.  If the forecast is still for winter precip of any kind, we'll reschedule.  She's up to that so that she can arrange her worker schedule.

They're now predicting ice and snow for Atlanta and northward. If that's the case, Toccoa is going to get creamed.

So, if we reschedule, what would you all prefer....
A. A week from Saturday (long range forecast is good for then).
B. A month from now.
The more complex the mind, the greater the need for the simplicity of play.
