Feelers on a 3800SC swapped '86
« on: May 22, 2017, 11:40:11 pm »
I think the time might be coming for me to get rid of my 3800SC swapped '86.
I'm putting feelers out to see if there is any interest before I post on Pennock's.
Swaps been done for awhile and I just don't have the time to drive it enough.

1986 White Fastback / Grey interior
Fresh rebuild and bore on a 3800SC engine (just shy of 1200 miles on it)
ZZP VS Cam( I think or XP I'll have to double check)
60 Lb Deka Injectors
3.4 Modular Pulley
Ported and polished blower
4 Speed Muncie
Initial tune done by Ryan(he said to give it 3000 miles before trying to final tune it)
Spec 3 Clutch
ZZP Powerlog
Custom Flowmaster exhaust (cut trunk)
Grand AM brake upgrade
17" Wheels
Boost Gauge( will need some fiberglass work to install the pod)
Rebuilt headlights - Dickman kit and swapped motors.
AC and heat connected and work.
This build was done by someone who's done at least 1 3800NA and I think 2 other 3800SC builds.

There are a few issues -
The tach sometimes freezes and get stuck at 0 RMP - as well as the temp gauge, untill you hit a bump or hit it a few times. (Have 2 - 120MHP clusters I'll include both I think work well)
Phantom wiper ( have another steering column I will include)
It could use tires and needs an alignment
Can't think of any more at the moment, if anyone has questions just ask.

Have another set of headlights, taillights, front and rear formula bumpers.

Can't do pictures right now I'll have to do it tomorrow after work if there is interest.
If anyone was at the north GA meet where we met at a Sonic should remember the car.
Asking $5500 OBO. Could work on price if someone from the club is interested.

I hope I'm not speaking out of turn, but maybe you would be interested in buying one of the club's Fieros.  No SC, though.
