A few early responses coming in via club email:

What does it cost and how do you get involved with being a member or being part of the group?
I appreciate you sending me this email.

Please remove me from the mailing list.  I no longer own a Fiero.

I like it! It off to a good start.

Great idea...definitely keep me on the mailing list.

Very good.  Its a good start to show what is coming  up and some insight in the club

Sure I like the newsletter and would love to receive it. Put xxxxx on the list too I'm sure he will like it as well.

We also got a request from MAFOA to swap newsletters.  Got to get management approval, so I didn't tell them we would.  Maybe we need to set up a section for Other Fiero Club Newsletters.

Not that I want it sent to me, but I'm curious what their newsletter looks like.

I did.  It is an approach.  I think ours is more visually appealing, but not as informative.  But hey, we just started this.  I have high hopes for the future of our newsletter.

Agree.  I do think it's good that other clubs are interested in receiving ours.  Of course, they have many more members because they're made up of several clubs, so they have a lot more activities and input than we have and they've been at it much longer.  I think you're doing good.

We'll have to decide what we want in the newsletter.  Articles are fine, but how many pages do you want to read online?  Ours will grow with more material, but the idea is to draw participation.

I'm actually flattered that another club is interested in our newsletter.

In a search for consistency, all colors that weren't club colors were removed from the base newsletter.  Not that other colors can't make appearances in images and such, but for the most part, headings and all the club stuff has club colors.

For 2018, I tried to match the newsletter header colors and fonts to the club logo, but today I looked at the banner, and it's completely different.  So, I started working on a new header for 2019.  Then I got back to the web site, and it's a variation on what I had.  Ideally, they should all match, but sometimes, you get what you get.

Anyway, it's a work in progress.  I wasn't happy with the initial 2019 effort, but I'd like to reduce redundancy in the header.  If you have comments on the header, I'm open to ideas.

I'm playing with presentation and readability.  Which do you prefer, 2 columns per page, or 4 columns per page?  Basically, about 2 inches wide, or about 3.5 inches wide?  I was thinking of why newspapers are formatted as they are, and it was for readability.

I you use a three column page I will need a magnifing glass to read it.  A two column is probably easier to read and be able to insert pictures.  Just my thoughts

The font size wouldn't change, but there is a thought.  Perhaps I should increase the font size?  GrannyLinda hasn't commented, but perhaps the font is too small.

For pictures, yes, 2 columns works better for pictures, especially since I already have that format, but I have a long article (more than 1 page) that I was trying to make more readable.

Two columns.

Use CTRL+ to increase the font size on your screen

Use CTRL- to decrease the font size.
