My mate Pa Larkin who sadly died this year used to put a receipe at the end of his guitar company newsletter every month.  Now I just have to try and find a place hot enough for persimmons and catch enough on the way down! 😀

Just be aware that persimmons do not keep (mold), and there are many varieties.  So, I also included a recipe whose ingredients should be easier to obtain.

Still plan on the Persimmon pie.  Tishabelle bought some but I may have eaten then before the pie stage!

The fusible link stuff was interesting.  There is no agreement.  Half of the sources say the opposite thing.

I was so happy with the 1,277 views on the 2018 newsletter thread...until I saw that the 2019 newsletter thread had 50 views, despite the fact that it has no content.

On the positive side, Google indexes our site content almost instantly.  That is 1 robot.

Most posts on this forum show up on google; however, no matter what I tried, I was unable to get any of the 2018 newsletters to show up on google.  I'm not sure why.

I thought maybe it was locked threads that weren't indexed, but that didn't pan out.  Google does not index either newsletter thread, at all.  This is apparently a complaint about SMF.  There did not appear to be a resolution.

When I spoke with Mike in November, he seemed positive about the newsletter, but sometimes the view is different from the top.  I'll keep going, unless I hear something different.
