Not faulting you.  I fully understand your concerns.  I was lamenting the date change, and the fact that this will diminish the participants.  In light of what happened with the last cruise...

I don't think we can come near duplicating the run in heavy rain and possible heavy cloud cover up on the mountains.  I would really like to have a group going and I know this will cause some to not be able to go at a later date.  I'm sorry for that, but I need to think of an accurate documentation run and everyone's safety.

Well, looks like I will go if I can borrow Pat's Formula.  There are a number of variables in the route that need to be worked out.  I've sent route sheets to Dave, Scott and Pat.  Anyone else plan to go?

3.    The rest of them have to pee on the electric fence and find out for themselves.    Will Rogers

Tomorrow morning, RaceTrac at Mile Marker 25 on I-985/Ga. 365 in Gainesville.  Ready to leave out by 8AM.
Next stop is behind the AutoZone, 1036 Georgia Rd, Franklin, NC 28734.  Georgia Road is US 442, US 23, which is also an extension of I-985/Ga. 365 for those not familiar with the area.

We should pull out of Franklin around 9AM.  FRS radios recommended.  Channel 7.

I'm charging mine, but I have problems with the transmit buttons on them.  I may need to borrow one from someone.

It's a beautiful day, here.  Shows only 20% chance of rain there, today.  I hope the weather is great.  Have fun.

Do tell.  Was it a beautiful day?

That's dedication.  Home for 3 minutes, and already on the forum.
