Posted it.
There are three kinds of men:

1.    The ones that learn by reading.
2.    The few who learn by observation.
3.    The rest of them have to pee on the electric fence and find out for themselves.    Will Rogers

Sorry. I'm not going to be able to make this one. Tammy's got a show that weekend.

I know it won't be on RFTH, but how close is the Aerodon car to being on the road again?

Probably not any closer than it was a month or two ago.
It was decided to try to get one of the other club member's car sorted out.
Not a problem. I'm happy that we did what we did, but the Aerodon car is still where it was.

We need to get it to the point that it will roll out of the bay in case the business is sold.

Well, a cradle can be put in and the car be driveable in 2-3 hours, depending on how motivated you are.  Probably less if several people people share the work.  Maybe even faster with a lift.  Maybe having all the right tools and a tool gof'r could help, too.

Trans and axles need to be installed.  Trans and motor mounts need to be installed.  Car is on a lift.  Lots of tools, so the necessary tools are probably there.  Just need some people with the experience to help/guide.

Transmission takes a bit.  The axles are easy.

I'm planning to come, but I may not be there as early as 9 AM. I have changed a transmission, so I may be of help. I assume that the cradle is out, or will be, and there is a shop crane or something to that effect to lift the transmission off of the cradle.
The more complex the mind, the greater the need for the simplicity of play.

Michael says he'll be there at 10 but has to leave when we break for lunch.

The full rear assembly is sitting on the pallet where it was before.  Trans has to be bolted up.  I guess we can let the car down on the lift enough to lift the cradle assembly up to the car the same way Michael removed it.

I think your help will be valuable.
