A colleague of mine spotted this one up just south of Asheville, nc.  He knows I'm a Fiero nutter.  My reputation precedes me.... it had Florida plates.

Scott, Randy, Ray and I caught these on US 411 in Madisonville, Tn. today.  Then just down the road about a thousand feet was another that looked like a pale flat green bumper pad, sitting in the lot of a garage or repair shop.

3.    The rest of them have to pee on the electric fence and find out for themselves.    Will Rogers

I didn't see it, but someone else did.  I had to go to Cleveland, Ga. after church today.  Decided to drive the Lil Duke Coupe.  As I exited I-985 at US 129 North and got to the light at the end of the ramp, I heard a horn toot.  I looked over to my left and a lady, maybe in her mid 70's at least, was sitting there with 2 thumbs up, mouthing "I like your car."  As we made the left and got to the next light, she had rolled down the window and was yelling "I like your Fiero!"

Kind of brightened up an otherwise sad day.

There I was in Wilkes-Barre, PA (NEPA) on Saturday when I spotted a black '85(?) parked in a yard.  Looked good.  However, my wife, mother, two daughters, aunt, and sister would not have appreciated stopping to take a look at it...

Checked Craigslist while I was up there.  Fieros are not cheap in NEPA.

If i saw one in a movie, does that count?  I watched a movie this weekend. There is a red formula with t-tops that the main character drives around in "Pain and Gain"  at one point, there was three body builders in the car, driver, passenger, and one on the saddle.

Speaking of Fieros in Movies:  a friend sent me this online database today, and of course the first thing I looked up was "Pontiac Fiero," to see how many were cataloged as appearing in movies and TV shows: 161!

In addition to this Formula, TopNotch's 86SE was also used for closeup shots of The Rock and Wahlberg sitting inside.

Wrong stars. My car was in "The Change Up" starring Jason Bateman and Ryan Reynolds. The main Fiero in the movie was a red 88 Formula, and on the set they had two of them. I heard that the set crew (young guys) trashed both of them (hard driving) after the movie was done.
The more complex the mind, the greater the need for the simplicity of play.

There was a guy out here near Roger, named Michael Barr that owned one.  Not to be confused with our Mike Barr.  Soon as he got it fixed, he sold it to someone locally.  It was a T-top.  Bright red, not maroon.

Blue 87 notchback, 2.5 with a 5-speed, gray interior in the Lance Auto Parts junk yard in Lawrenceville.  It came in yesterday and will be crushed on Friday.

Spotted today on US 78 between Snellville and Stone Mountain, headed West.  Obviously a repaint and probably not an 88 due to the early style lace wheels.  Nice looking.  Also on board the carrier was a Barracuda and a Buick Grand Sport.  The carrier was loaded with classics.  I was really focused on the Fiero and only remembered a couple of the other cars.
