If it's an 86, it should have an Isuzu 5 speed. Both cables come in from the top, but at a higher (steeper?) angle than the Muncie.

Must be. Both are from the top and much higher angle than my Muncie. The slave doesn't look like it will fit

I don't need the vents, but someone might.  The weatherstrip seal for the decklid could be installed on the Formula.  Every time I start it, I have to watch for smoke from smoldering leaves on the manifold.

That's an Isuzu 5-speed transmission.  It used the same slave cylinder as the 85 and 86 Muncie.  The 84 Muncie had an entirely different slave that was used by no other Fiero.  You said you got the cables from it, but the cable to transmission mount would be a worthwhile grab, also.  You can pop in an 85 Toyota MR2 rebuild kit into the slave and you've got the double seal slave.  Cost about $7.00.

I forgot a couple of things.  If it has delay wipers, and it looks like it does, the circuit board from the motor is a good grab.

The other thing was your question about buying a whole car from the yard.  Once it's on the Pull-A-Part yard, it leaves only to go to the crusher.  I've already asked at one of the yards down here, and they said they don't sell whole cars.

Silver notchie parked in a yard south of Millen on the south-bound side of US 25.  Just south of Old Gip Rd.

We're everywhere.

Beautiful bright red notchie with NC plates on Washington Road in Martinez heading towards Augusta.

Traffic was too thick to catch up.   :(

I saw 2 pitiful specimens yesterday on hwy 78 just west of Rayle. Looks like they have been sitting in the woods for a while.

Those in Rayle have been abandoned for at least three years that I know of. I've never had an occasion to drive back up that way to check them out closer. I've got a co worker that keeps telling me they're there......waiting........rotting........crying.........

In addition to the NINE Fieros we saw at Sonic.  F85gtron and myself also saw one on the way back to the CSRA!  Pictures near the end of this link: https://plus.google.com/photos/101244603559962497427/albums/6256174245414714081

I called,
Craig, the owner, said he rescued it from a buddy's field. It runs and drives. He knows it's an Indy, but wants to cut it up anyway for the drive train for another (very cool) project. Basically, he wants the running motor, manual gearbox and cradle. He'd be interested in a running manual cradle setup in trade (not sure if that's straight up or partial).  He said he's open to the idea of keeping it intact.
One thing that got my attention was that he said he'll scrap the ecm and go carburated. That will be interesting.

ThaDriver might be interested in a trade.  He has several cradle setups.  Tell Craig to give me a call.  Give him my number.
