NoMad...You've seen the car, it was the green one around back of the shop.

Kermit is probably going to donate his body panels and other parts to be put on my 88. It's way more than a project to complete on the current body/frame. There haven't been any takers so far.

You're correct.  It has the specially made windshield, Ferrari nose, and hips.

It was in the process of becoming the second

Does anybody know who owns this car? It would be nice to have some more pictures of it.

I don't have the quarter panels for the car and the front bumper is a buck to make a mold, not a finished bumper. I do have fiberglass fenders but they look exactly like the stock parts at least at first glance.

Um, Whodeanie, maybe?  He built it and drove it.

There exist more pictures.

The "Kermit" car was to be the 2nd car of that design. It never came close to being a finished car. The first car is still out there somewhere I assume. Dean no longer has any Fiero's if I understand correctly

I am still really interested in the wheels and possibly the cradles but nothing else there seemed to be in very usable shape for my needs.

The front bumper buck has me curious...

Paul, I don't think the buck is for the front fascia that is on the Grey car in the pics. It is either an unfinished buck or it's just been stored improperly since it is pretty banged up. Usable though with some finishing. I'll get a pic tomorrow and post it up here.

We've never met but I need to make a visit up to you with the buck and several other glass pieces for you to give me an opinion on.

That is mostly the fierofiberglass nose.  Someone added a splitter.

Looks like he modified the lower lip on the large opening some and added the splitter.

The car was sold to someone in Huntsville.  I think Raydar knows who it is.  Ron768 and I met him over there once for lunch, a number of years ago.  At that time, he had mostly disappeared from the forums.  I think that if he had sold it, it would have probably popped up on one of the Fiero sites.

One of the things that's unique about the Kermit car is that it has the extended windshield that gives it a lower profile appearance without chopping the top.
There are three kinds of men:

1.    The ones that learn by reading.
2.    The few who learn by observation.
3.    The rest of them have to pee on the electric fence and find out for themselves.    Will Rogers

That would mean that either the base went forward, or the top went back.  Probably the latter.
