Maybe get some mother-of-pearl, and use that to help make the emblem, like one of these:

BTW, be careful when making the emblems.  Apparently, even the "OEM-quality" emblems from some places are destroyed by heat and UV light.

Thank you kindly for modifying the logo, but I was actually going for an embroidery logo, so the mother-of-pearl effect was sort of moot, but it has given me some ideas for a nose badge / emblem! :-)

Ah.  That's why the B&W look on the one.  I thought you were looking for the nose emblem.

For the headliner, it may be easier to start over.  You can make a good board from fiberglass, then either paint it or cover it.

I don't recall my Fiero with the tan interior having a tan shift boot.

I discovered that the tan things that were touched became black over time, so I changed the shift knob and steering wheel from brown to black.
