January Club Meeting

This one should be fun.  Don't miss it.  Saturday, the 12th, at the usual time and place.

I wonder, how aware people are that there is a Fiero  meeting.  Most attendees probably drive their Fiero to the meeting, but do they wear a Fiero shirt?

MikeMac and I talked this afternoon and we're planning a tech day at Northlake Automotive, starting at about 9:30-10.  We will be bleeding the brakes on the Fastback Formula before it goes to its new home.

Other cars that are available for attention are Fan's 3800SC, AeroDonamic, and about 6 other Fieros.  Those darned things need to learn about birth control.
There are three kinds of men:

1.    The ones that learn by reading.
2.    The few who learn by observation.
3.    The rest of them have to pee on the electric fence and find out for themselves.    Will Rogers

Good to read that work is resuming.  Did the fastback Formula sell to one of the new members?

Yes.  Not finalized, but committed.

Ya, cash ready to hand over on the formula fastback. Excited to make her my daily driver and let the truck take a break from the drive down from Alaska. Atlanta traffic and parking sure wasn't meant for Long bed dual cab dually trucks....

I wish I could be at the meeting and tech day but stuck at work. The car drove beautifully and with the new clutch Master, clutch slave, and a brake fluid change and bleed I think she will be a great rolling project. Already selecting parts to get ordered.

Thank you in advance to those who have worked on the car and are planning to on Saturday.

A very cold and windy day.  Overcast.  On the way home around 4PM, it began to sprinkle lightly.  By the time I made a 30 mile drive, it was raining when I got home.  Rain seemed to be moving in from the East because that was the direction I was driving.

Good meeting.  Eight members, plus one guest who drove up from Louisiana and brought his two daughters who live in the Atlanta area.

Very cool!  2019 is off to a good start.  Maybe the daughters will join.

Put simply, GFC needs some female members.  Potentially, a female member at this time would hold a unique position.

I will amend my last statement.  While checking club email, I see that Tim should have been listed as a Member from Louisiana.  An email says he joined the club this year.  I just haven't received the notice, yet so I didn't know.

He was there early this morning and got right into the greasy stuff with us.  Thanks, Tim for the help and welcome to you and your daughters.

I briefly got to wave to Tim and his daughters, as everyone was leaving.
I didn't realize that there was going to be a work session at Mike's, prior to the meeting, since I overlooked this thread.

The Formula fastback looks good. I think Nomad will be pleased. It's good to see the AeroDon car back on its wheels, and moving under its own power.

I'm happy for NoMad, but would like to read more about the AeroDon Fiero.
