At the February meeting Pat suggested looking at the Yahoola Creek Restaurant as an alternate choice for lunch.  This was because some had an unsatisfactory experience at The Smith House.  At that time I forgot that I had indicated The Smith House as our destination in every place where I had issued an invitation.  GrassRoots Motorsports, Southeast Solstice and Skye Club, Neighbor.Com, and Facebook.

They are 2 miles apart, according to the map.  Maybe you could send an updated invite, then post someone to redirect a few people.

I'm not going to change the destination.  I don't know how widely the information has been distributed through the groups I've invited.  If I change it, corrections may not get passed along.  If anyone doesn't want to eat at The Smith House, there are several other places close by, including Yahoola and some fast food restaurants.  They will still enjoy the casual ride.

In theory, everyone should finish about the same time.  If you wait a bit and left everyone congregate in the parking lot, people could decide where they want to go.

It might be a good idea to put this on the home page, to advise any visitors that there will not be the regular meeting at the Diner.

Has the starting point been finalized to The North Georgia Racing Museum and Dawsonville City Hall?  Are these the same location?

Yes.  Starting point is the Dawsonville City Hall/Georgia Racing Museum in Dawsonville, Ga.

Yes, Dawsonville City Hall is in the same building as the Georgia Racing Hall of Fame..... its a long story, but there is some small town politics involved

We will be doing a trial run on Saturday, March 16.  We will be departing Dawsonville City Hall not later than 10.  Because this is a trial run, arrive at City Hall around 9-9:30.  We will wait on all who let us know they're going.

Anyone going besides me, Scott and Pat?  Supposed to be a sunny day about 60*.
