Rodney's rebuild kit seriously made it easy and turned it into a far more robust and higher tolerance shifter which Ronald in the video did 'not' utilize...

Ronald is apparently utilizing the restore method, rather than the replace parts method.

For the radio, sure, I could fix the display on the unit in it, or, I could install the spare I have.  One method requires the time to remove and re-install, and the other requires that time, plus time to disassemble, test, re-assemble (probably several times), plus some parts, tools, and oil.  It isnxt worth the hour or so extra of my time.
