I assume you mean the follow-up, clean up wagon?  We don't have one anymore.  Cowspatoot said he will have his truck and trailer at the hotel.  I usually carry extra coolant, brake fluid, oil, V6 module and a few tools to help out.

Yes.  Perhaps someone whose Fiero is out of commission would drive the SAG wagon.

That was the personal Saturn Ion of Tim.  It has eventually breathed it's last breath.

Any vehicle with cargo and passenger space would do.  I was thinking the person would drive their own vehicle.

I will be leaving Friday morning sometime around 10-10:30 from the Race Trac station on Hwy. 53, I-85 North Exit 129 in Braselton.

If anyone would like to travel along together, let me know or meet me there.  The hotel says we can get into our rooms early if they have them cleaned, but if not, we could go have lunch and socialize in the parking lot until rooms are open around 3.

It's about a 3 1/2 to 4-hour drive from Braselton to Asheville, so if we got there early, it would only be a short wait.

Post here or contact me if you want to drive up together.

Might meet up with you around Hendersonville or Greenville.  Not sure what time we're heading up.

I'm exiting I-85 @ US 25 and traveling up through Travelers Rest to connect with I-26.  When my internet comes back up I can give you an estimated arrival time at my exit.  Maybe we can hook up.

Paul, I just checked and it will take about 1 1/2 hours to get to the exit off I-185 at US Hwy 25 and about 2 hours to the Spinx gas station in Traveler's Rest where I gas up for the final leg.  So, about Noon to US Hwy 25 and 12:30 to Traveler's Rest.

Looks like you could run US Hwy 25 all the way up.  For you, about 2 1/2 hours up to the northern intersection of US Hwy 25 and I-85.

Conveniently, most RFTH participants should get an extra hour of sleep after RFTH.

The weather forecast for the weekend is beautiful.  Atlanta temps in the low to mid-'80s with low '50s on Friday night.  Asheville Saturday and Sunday is mid-'80's with lows in the low '50s.

Might want to bring along a sweater, light jacket, or hoodie for our early morning meeting or being outdoors in the evening.

I have an event Tshirt for RFTH 24 that was improperly sized.  Should have been an XL and it's a XXL.  Anyone that didn't purchase a shirt interested in buying it?  I'll bring it to the run or next meeting.  It's a white shirt.

They are all out of King rooms, but I did get the club rate.

Sadly I am out. The miss is still present when the car is hot. Have to sort that before I am comfortable with a mountain run.
