Booked my room, got my shirt ordered, and got the day off (Friday).  Going to be a good time!

Forgive me, but I thought her name was Kathryn, or something similar, since she was introduced as Kat.  Maybe my memory failed me.

No, no failing memory. You met Cat (Catherine) at the ladies day meeting. We have since dissolved the romantic portion of our relationship and are now friends. She moved to Massachusetts as of a few weeks ago to start a new job. I started seeing Marilyn shortly after and we decided living together was best for us both.

Now back to your regularly scheduled fun.

Well, RFTH should be a good intro to Fieros, for Marilyn.

Just in case, you may want to go to CVS or Walgreen and get her a pack of Dramamine and carry along a couple of grocery bags lined with paper towels in the bottoms.
There are three kinds of men:

1.    The ones that learn by reading.
2.    The few who learn by observation.
3.    The rest of them have to pee on the electric fence and find out for themselves.    Will Rogers

I just checked with the hotel to see how many of the block rooms have been reserved.  There have been only 6 rooms reserved.  She said the cutoff date for the discounted rates had passed, but she was unaware that the hotel manager had agreed to honor the rates afterward if rooms were available.

So with just 6 rooms reserved, how many Georgia Fiero members have rooms?  Has anyone reserved a room through any other source?

I did not reserve my room by saying I'm with the club. I'm in their "choice rewards" program, so I reserved online, and got a cheaper rate than the club rate. So my room may not have been counted.

No, it wouldn't have been counted.  I talked with one of the Solstice/Fiero guys and he made reservations through a different source, too.

How about Lloyd and Mike?  Are they bunking with you or have their own rooms?

That is at least 10 people.  I hope there are many more attending.

I'm not sure yet how many Solstice and Sky's will be in attendance.  Haven't been able to get a good response from them, but I do know there will be a few.  I also invited a young lady to bring her Mustang GT.  She seemed pretty interested, so who knows.  She got event information.

PGAckerman, are you still planning to attend?  I thought I had seen where you indicated you were.
