I wouldn't mind having the '37 Chevy, behind it.

Why?  I've driven several, but was never impressed with them.  Broncos were the farm vehicles at a farm where I worked, growing up.  They weren't terrible, but not as good as the Internationals or the old Blazers.  The Internationals were work horses, the Blazers would go anywhere, and were fairly multi-purpose.  The Broncos would get you to the tractor in the field, and carry some tools, but if you needed to traverse some rough terrain, not the vehicle to drive.  The Broncos also couldn't tow much.  We tore up so many, trying to tow stuff.

Looking at the pictures of the Fiero made me believe we are mistaken about the original color of our speaker grills.  Even though this car has been kept inside and not exposed to the strong rays of the sun, the grills are a light blue.  Not the darker color that so many of us think was the original color.  The car apparently has never seen a rainy day.  Beautiful.

My sense of color may be off, but blue does not look right, even to me.

I guess the way to tell would be to look at original pics.  Perhaps ask an original owner.

When I lived in Massachusetts and Rhode Island, the 4WD Broncos were the choice of the independent snow plow guys for clearing driveways, parking lots and private streets.

Our Youth Minister has a White Bronco, identical to the Infamous OJ Simpson Bronco.  He got it for that reason.

Have you checked the prices on a first generation Bronco?

Sure.  They work for snow plows, but not as well as a tractor.

Nice ones...35 thousand and up. WAY up. Much better investment than a Fiero.

Well, it you buy one now, someone else redeemed their investment.  Now, if you bought it years ago...
