I am currently running the carbon metalics from TFS and they have a great feel and stop real well. Seems to be way more brake dust then I am used to though. Not tried any others on the current set-up to compare though.

More stop = more dust.

I have experience with Bosch on the foreign cars and I think they did some OEM pads for Ford. Heck, try em out and see. Are you ordering online? I need rear pads for AeroDonamic for the same sliding pin issue.

Andddddddd....... changing brake pads today. Do NOT use VersaChem caliper grease. I went through the pins a couple of months ago and they are stuck again. Will pick up some Permatex grease this week. Hard to believe that grease gelled up so thick that the pins are bound up after 1 road trip. Really starting to hate Autozone more than ever.

Brake job is done, new Bosch pads installed. Had to rig up a clamp to get the slide pins out. Did I mention that Autozone sucks?

I was using Syl-Glyde Brake Slider Grease without any problems.  I also used it as the lube in the headlight motors because it didn't liquify.  When I went to purchase more, they didn't have it, so I got Permatex Ceramic Extreme Brake Parts Lubricant.  Good for -50 to 3000 f.

3.    The rest of them have to pee on the electric fence and find out for themselves.    Will Rogers

Forgot to mention that when I was changing bearings and races that I took a good look in the hubs. I found a couple of blobs of casting flash or slag. I had to get out the die grinder and grind it out. I dont know if some that is what ate the bearimg or not but it is gone now. Unimpressed with Chinese casting quality.

Well, you'll know soon enough, if everything is OK.
