88 Duke A/C compressor

Does the pulley on the A/C compressor in the 88 Duke have 5 or 6 grooves?

I think six, but don't know for sure. It's wider than the V6, IIRC.
Check your alternator or crank pulley if you can see them more easily.

I drove my Formula to work today, but I can check my duke this evening if you don't have a definitive answer by then.

My pulleys have 6 grooves, or in other words, 5 ridges between the grooves.
The more complex the mind, the greater the need for the simplicity of play.

Probably better than 5.  More surface grip area.  Wider belt.  When Melanie had her 93 Grand Am, I replaced the alternator.  It chewed up the belt in 50 miles.  The auto parts store gave me an alternator with a 5 rib pulley and one edge of the belt was running up on the shoulder of the pulley.  I managed to get back to the parts store before they sent my core in, and they swapped out pulleys from my old alternator.
