« on: September 09, 2019, 07:27:04 pm »
Does anyone have a good picture of the rear splash shields installed? Trying to put new ones on the car but it has been so long since I messed with them that I cant quite get them right

Thanks, Scott

Just verifying it isn't for an '88.  You about need to get the car on a lift to get good pics.  Do you still have Fierofool's '86?

Your parts car may still have the shields on it, too.  As for left or right, if it's similar material to OEM, the pebbly side goes outward to the car.
There are three kinds of men:

1.    The ones that learn by reading.
2.    The few who learn by observation.
3.    The rest of them have to pee on the electric fence and find out for themselves.    Will Rogers

Welp..... Charlies 86 aint got no splash shields, so that aint gonna werk as a example..... but I  did find a picture of the passenger side in the Haynes Manual so that got me started. So this evening I finished the rear passenger side brakes and installed the drivers splash shield. Then I ran out of gumption.  Will finish the brakes and splash shields later

I'll post them.  No problem.  Just send them to the club email.

After RFTH, if you'll let me, I'll come over and set it up for you.  You do have a Windows OS PC or laptop?
