Charlie's alternator quit putting out voltage early Saturday so he would run until the battery voltage went down, he and I would swap batteries. After jump starting my car I would charge his battery back up while he would run off of mine. Then we would do it again. Anyone know what the going rate is for charging batteries?

To make a very short story of what was a very long weekend for me............Alternator Unplugged.

While looking at a cord that was unplugged a wise man once told me " Son, them electrons aint gonna jump that far." Wise words indeed

Does it smell like food?

Hey!  That's not what those grilles are for!

Well, the deep fry oil may be special.

My apologies to GTRS, but I just uploaded pictures from Toni's camera to the same album.

Ok.  Posted, although there may be a few duplicates.  I cherry-picked the pics I posted.

My excuse for not finding that is poor vision.  I'm glad it was an inexpensive and easy fix.

Wait... What?!  :o

It's obviously a curse from the CORVETTE GODS as payback for the C8 sticker you have on the back window.

I'm wondering how it came unplugged.

Yeah.  Help with disassembling a Fiero.

That wouldn't begin to pay for all he's done for me.

Just helping a friend

I'm wondering, too.  It was OK when I parked Friday night.  At least I think it was.  I didn't notice it until a few miles into the run.  Could have just been coincidence.
There are three kinds of men:

2.    The few who learn by observation.
3.    The rest of them have to pee on the electric fence and find out for themselves.    Will Rogers

Based upon the scouting and documentation runs, it was about 215 miles hotel to hotel.

So, only 1 fuel stop on the run?
