There is a donut gasket that goes inside the flange area.  The Fiero Store has the donut and the bolts and springs that are needed.

https://www.fierostore.com/Product/Detail.aspx?s=54501&d=388&p=1

Misalignment can be caused by several things.  The lower part of the exhaust has springs that suspend it.  They could be pulling or the lower exhaust sections could be bent or out of position due to removal of the converter and rewelding out of position.

Bad transmission mounts can cause it to be out of alignment, too.  The upper Y pipe seldom gets bent so it's probably correct.  When we put Aerodonamic back together, we had to loosen the Y pipe at the exhaust manifolds, install the downpipe bolts and springs then pull everything together.
BTW, NoMad is looking for the ESC  Knock sensor if you're not using yours.

Well, I had posted in the other thread that the manifolds should be level, but appear not to be, in the pictures.

Oh.  If the manifolds aren't level, the lower end of the engine may be too far forward.

The chrome upper intake manifolds work for the exhaust log bolts.  Or, use the Saturn Vue manifold bolts.

Sorry, I thought it was downpipe to exhaust but you're talking about Y pipe to exhaust manifold.  There is no gasket or springs in that joint.  It's just a bell fit.  But again, The Fiero Store has the correct bolts.   https://www.fierostore.com/Product/Detail.aspx?s=66450&d=388&p=2

We loosely installed them, then put the downpipe to exhaust bolts and springs in place and pulled everything together.  The Y pipe to manifold bolts were the last things tightened, I believe.  At least in our case.

Judging by the condition of the bolt, you may want to clean the threads on the manifolt.  Be warned that the bolts are very easy to cross-thread on install.
