Fierofool has some pic on here of his, but you can see a pic of mine in this month's newsletter.

Mine is at a stock length.  Mine is an '88, and yours isn't, but that is adjusted way out.

If the subframe is bolted in place, it should not matter.

Yes sub frame is all bolted up to the body .I had no issues trying to get any engine mounts where the subframe aligned everything fit perfectly

There is no difference in the dogbone relation to a 2.8 and 3.4.  The blocks are all drilled identically and all ancillaries bolt in the same place.  The dogbone bolts should closely line up with the engine and transmission sitting on it's 3 mounts.  If you have to force the engine forward or backward very much to get the last dogbone bolt in place, you're putting stress on the mounts.  A little bit of misalignment is normal, but I don't think you'd want an inch out of alignment.

2.    The few who learn by observation.
3.    The rest of them have to pee on the electric fence and find out for themselves.    Will Rogers

When you tighten, do not pull by the manifolds.

In theory, you could measure between the centers of the exhaust manifolds, then compare to the distance between the centers of the corresponding ports on the Y-pipe.

This rust can easily be fixed.
