That's not terribly far to go if the cars are decent. I don't know how many times I've bought local or relatively local and realized down the road that I would have been better off to have traveled a distance for the best possible car. The farthest I've gone was to Santa Barbara California to purchase 2 1997 Chevrolet S10 electric trucks. Built by GM to meet a California requirement that manufacturers produce a certain number of electric vehicles. Fixed them, sold them and made some good money....

No way to post a question on the advertisement, its locked to comments.  Found it listed on the NIFE group, no info on that either but I did add a question to it.  Not going to drive 11 hours for a pig in a poke. The sale is a month away but no reason one could not buy/sell a car now, right?

I just spoke with him, also.

The non-running Formula is 5-speed Getrag, silver ext/grey interior not running, was for a V8 swap, has kit and 350 V8 engine.  It's dirty and dusty, been parked for 8-10 years.  The paint has some dull spots.

I also asked about the NOS and new parts.  He didn't have anything I didn't have (at least that I was interested in).  Most of what he has, you'll have in the parts barn.  He didn't mention any interesting NOS parts.  It's mostly small stuff, including some small body panels.

I believe he said he has a red Formula, that just needs a bit of TLC (headliner).  I think that was the 80K mile Fiero.

The blue GT he plans to keep, but would sell if made the right offer.

Wow thanks for the skinny on the sale.  As I'm not in the market for a project the red Formula GTRS mentioned would be the only candidate.  I can always paint it black later.  If you happen to hear more about it post it on up.
