Type "oil pressure:gafiero.org" into a google search bar.
This will search just the gafiero.org website. Should bring it up

Possible causes of oil gauge jumping:
Bad wiring to gauge
Bad oil sender
Wet oil sender (specifically, V6).
The only post regarding wiring that I can recall is the one about changing the old type oil sender to the newer type (88 Fiero type).
The more complex the mind, the greater the need for the simplicity of play.

If you want to do a test to determine if it's in your circuit or in your engine, I have a mechanical gauge that you can attach in place of the oil pressure sending unit.  I have used it several times, clamped to the vent grill so I can look back at it while driving to determine if my sending unit or gauge is faulty.
There are three kinds of men:

1.    The ones that learn by reading.
2.    The few who learn by observation.
3.    The rest of them have to pee on the electric fence and find out for themselves.    Will Rogers

Thanks for your inputs.  But I found what I was thinking about, it was the pegging of the oil needle when you start.  Will try what Fierofool  said.  Thanks again.

Does the sender still connect?  This reads like an either/or.
