THE JULY MEETING HAS BEEN  MOVED TO THE DULUTH DINER

Scottb's plans have changed and he won't be able to open the shop for a working meeting. We will hold the meeting back at our regular spot at the Duluth Diner at 1:30 on Saturday.

So far we have Fierofool and Mikemac confirmed as attending.

Hmmm... may not make it. We're supposed to be somewhere, mid afternoon.
Getting to and leaving the shop, early, was looking do-able. I don't want to just run in, and run right back out.

Thanks for the update.  It should be good to get another shot at the Diner.

No eat-and-run?

Not when a 1-way drive is 1.5 hours. Sorry.

Girlfriends oldest daughter works at a bank, someone there tested positive for KungFlu. She got tested today but won't have any results until the middle of next week. Mike, Charlie and myself talked about it this morning and thought it would be best if I "quarentined" until she got her test results back

Probably a good idea, since some of the members are probably more susceptible.

We have 2 people at work who are being tested, because they have 1 symptom.  If either one tests positive, I foresee a test in the future of everyone in the building...and a 14-day quarantine.

I very seldom miss a meeting.

I know it's not fun, but probably the responsible thing to do. (Dontcha hate that?)
Let me know what transpires. I might be up for a trip to the shop, in the next week or two, when I can actually spend some time and make myself useful.
Instead of burning a whole trip for an "eat and run".

Aw, come on, Steve.  ;) I've driven all the way to Anderson, SC for a good prime rib.  But then, things like that run in the family.  Mom and Dad once loaded up Ray and Royce and drove all the way down near Valdosta to have breakfast as a restaurant they found once on a trip to Florida.
There are three kinds of men:

1.    The ones that learn by reading.
2.    The few who learn by observation.
3.    The rest of them have to pee on the electric fence and find out for themselves.    Will Rogers

I can make the meeting at Duluth Diner at 1:30.  I can probably even talk the boy into coming, he loves their french toast.  However, the odds of having a guest or staff there with the 'rona is by far worse than the chances of Scott having it, simple numbers game 1 possibly exposed vs a great many unknowns.  With the current 24% national infection rate there are going to be lots of folks there that had or have it.  That is right, one in 4 tested now show positive.  It will keep spreading till we reach around 60%, not even half way there yet.  98.6% of people who get it recover (89% of those who do not had one or more underlying health issue) and that works out to a very low overall mortality rate, 0.28%.  In other words, I be fine with either location.  But if you have underlying health issues you might have a different opinion.

Sorry.  I shouldn't have started this, but that isn't what I meant.

Likely, but about the same risk as going to the store, depending on how they are doing their stuff.  Some places basically have each table isolated by plastic sheets.  If GFC spreads out, it should not be a problem.
