Would you like that with or without the garnish?

I was ordering some Fiero parts, and the salesperson asked if I wanted one of the parts with or without the garnish.  Seriously.  This was not food.  I asked for a picture or description, but he just said something about only being a salesperson.

What the heck is the garnish?

My order was for screws, a mounting bracket, and some belts.  Not sure how a garnish fits in.

The interior trim around a window opening is one type of garnish mouldings.   Possibly screws for trim?
