Ford GT rebody

It has a 350 V8.  Looks much better from the front than from any other angle.

Not mine.

And it's sold.  Didn't take long.

The proportions are wrong, the wheel gaps are wrong, the doors are wrong, and the entire rear is a disaster.  I'm not sure what happened to the hood.  I don't recall all that stuff.  The mirrors are...goofy.

Many of the kit cars back in the '80s came with the bullet fender mirrors.  My Bradley GT II and my partner's Bradley both had them.  I didn't install them on my car, but instead, used flag mirrors on the doors.  Tim installed the fender mirrors on his.  Some of the Dino kits also had those mirrors for several years.  This rendition didn't have a place for door mirrors because the doors had been modified in the mounting area.

The rear of the vehicle is just too short.  The original 40 had a longer rear and slope.  The two ornaments on either front fender at the base of the A pillar didn't help the looks of the car.  BUT, I do like the sound of that engine.  It's about the only thing that could make it more like a GT 40.

2.    The few who learn by observation.
3.    The rest of them have to pee on the electric fence and find out for themselves.    Will Rogers

I saw one that was really nice, but almost $30K.  Had an awesome V8.

Send me the money, and I'll buy it.

There are several, just down the road from me.

For the mirrors, it seems that there are smaller mirrors on the mirrors.
