Newsletter planning
« on: October 23, 2020, 05:51:06 pm »
Lots of planning goes into the newsletters.  I have some ideas for newsletters for 2021, if they are to continue.  Some things were planned, months ago, but many things remain.  A few of the things were based off newsletters for 2020, where topics just couldn't be fully covered in a single newsletter.  Remaining planning includes cover page pictures, themes, and special editions.

If you have ideas for these things, I'd appreciate the help.

Are the articles that are not Fiero-related (such as the groundhog and Valentine's Day articles) appreciated?

A little variety is good.
There are three kinds of men:

1.    The ones that learn by reading.
2.    The few who learn by observation.
3.    The rest of them have to pee on the electric fence and find out for themselves.    Will Rogers

Pgackerman hopefully doesn't trademark (or whatever) that word, appreciation.  As I read what I'd posted--including that word, it really struck me.

How about a list of the themes and articles you’d like to see? This would be a good jumping off point.

I need a way to make sure there aren't duplicate articles, and to know who and when.

Planned themes for upcoming months:
April - lights
May - scoops
June - wrap-up
July - spoilers & luggage racks
August - towing with a Fiero
September - tires, wrap-up
October - brakes and suspension
November - ground wires
December - splices, wrap-up

Those are the broad strokes.  I try to limit the scope, to control newsletter length.  If someone can help, I have specific articles that will fit with and support the other articles.

Gabe, if you will do an article on lights, I'm looking for a specific reference article.  Yes, LEDs, too.  I can get you the info for which I'm looking.

I’ve not done anything light related except the headlight motors but that has been beat to death.
