I have made returns, in the past. This particular item was a set of Duralast wrenches. The set was sold to me as an open item. The clerk even opened it in front of me. I returned the set (20 wrenches) because i found a better set, for about $40 less. The set I returned was still all strapped in place. I returned to the same lady that had rung me out and opened the set. She checked the set, then started processing the return, omly I noticed that she did not have the set included in the return. She called over the manager, who checked the set, then screwed up the return. I again complained that they only processed the return on a $1.49 item. The manager argued with me. Mathematically, it is impossible to return several items--including an item for $79.99, and have the return total be less than $3.00! So, I made them process the return for the tools. Although the parts had not been in my posession for over an hour, he checked the set, again, this time cutting all the straps. He made all sorts of accusations. I got my money back. The manager said that next time, he won't give me my money back, that I'll have to go for a store credit. I told him store credit is for people who are satisfied customers, and want to return and do business with the store again. Next time, I won't bother going back--I'll just dispute the charge.
