I have possibly been exposed to Covid-19 a week ago by several people at church. We have suspended services with our Pastor and more than a half dozen testing positive or showing positive symptoms of the virus. A husband and wife friend from church has the husband showing negative and his wife who didn't get the shots is having much difficulty. He got the shot, she didn't. Pastor didn't. A pair of 27 year old twins didn't. I understand all who are positive didn't get the shot or shots.
Even though I have been vaccinated and show no symptoms, I tested today and won't know the result until Wednesday or Thursday. If I test positive, I will not be able to attend this year's RFTH 26. At best, I could drive up to Clayton Saturday morning and do the driver's meeting from a distance from the group. I have made arrangements for HeadhunterID1 to handle the Primary Route festivities.
I have assembled the route sheets and registration form and will collect and bag event tshirts and have someone bring them for distribution. The Jukebox Junction will need to be called before leaving Clayton to let them know how many will be dining. She will put our group in the long side room away from the regular dining crowd.
Before departing Jukebox Junction, Applebee's in Asheville will need to be called to tell them how many will be dining.
