Just reserve your rooms and show up.  We do have a registration form at the event, but it's for emergency purposes.  Shirts are delivered at the event.

I just got a call from the Days Inn in Clayton.  Only 4 rooms have been taken and the motorcycle guys are trying to get our rooms.  You need to make your reservations ASAP.  You can cancel without charge up to September 22.

I had a pretty hard time with the Clayton hotel. They kept asking for a code, and even after explaining it was for the club, they still wouldn't give me the discount rate.

There is no code for the Clayton hotel.  Only for the Asheville hotel.  In Clayton, ask for Group Sales and then Georga Fiero Club group rate.  If you made reservations otherwise, make new ones and cancel the higher rate reservation.

You must call the number I listed in the first post.  Do not call the hotel direct to make reservations.  You won't get group rates.

I reserved my Clayton room, but I used Wyndham rewards, not the group, so I won't show up in the group. Didn't save anything, but I get to cancel right up to the day before if I need to.

Our group can also cancel up to within 24 hours.  Earlier I said Sept. 22, just to be sure no one waited until the very last minute or too late should they need to cancel. 

The thing about using other means for making reservations is that if less than 10 rooms of our group are reserved, those of us who have rooms may have to pay the higher regular price.  It's at the hotel's discretion.
