All cleaned up for C&O, and new tires, too.

The black door strips look really nice against the yellow.

I need to actually wash mine.  The yard is a mud bowl and I have to use it to turn around most of the time because we have too many cars, we need to do a bit of Urban Planning on the old estate......

Got insurance on the Silver Bullet this week, may try and get plates tomorrow.  It is already fairly clean already.

I have the 87 prepped and I'm not letting it go to waste.   I'll be there.

3.    The rest of them have to pee on the electric fence and find out for themselves.    Will Rogers

Thanks. I'm good.
We're doing a major remodel, to include a new utility room. We've been using the appliances that were here (old appliances - old utility room), up until the middle of the week, when the electrician swung the 220V dryer feed from the old room to the new. Which made getting the appliances that we moved from D-ville out of storage, and up and running, a matter of some urgency. This afternoon was my first real opportunity.
So yeah... Ten years accumulation of lint (truly frightening - lucky we didn't burn anything down), dryer pieces scattered all over the porch, and I ran out of daylight.  So there ya' go. (I've had the dryer apart, before. Had to replace a thermal fuse, the last time it got full of lint. Just a process. Been a while.)

Just jump the safeties out. Safeties are for suckers. 😂 should have called me. I just did a utility room remodel. I’ve rebuilt lots of appliances too.

I saw your remodel pics, elsewhere. Quite a nice job. I think I even commented.

But I don't mind jumping into appliances, as long as there is no real time pressure. (Huh...)
I replaced the thermal fuse in the dryer, about ten years ago. I also replaced a motor shaft coupling in the washing machine, more recently. Also a one way "dog clutch" (or something like that) not too long before the coupling. Wondering what else is likely to break, in a 20+ year-old washer.
The only time we ever called Sears (under warranty/contract) there was a loose connection on a flat connector down near the front.
This is all Kenmore stuff (which is really the same as many other brands, I've noticed.) You probably know all this equipment, well. I, OTOH, learn as I go. Incredible, what you can find on youtube. Some of those folks are really good.
