What happened to it?  Is it still good?

I believe it's still good. The fire doesn't appear to have gotten around the bottom of the engine compartment.

Hmmm.  I may want the tank, if it's in good condition.

I'll take $100 for it if you come pull it. If Raydar decides he wants the clip, you can be a part of the stripping party.  ;D

Do I need to decide before the tank comes out, or could I wait until after I see the condition?

You can pull it & inspect it, & decide from there. I just remembered I have another '88 (IIRC) that was a running car. You can pull that tank if you like. I'll post in Raydar's thread about it too.

It occurs to me that my presence as an out-of-towner during COVID time may prrvent others from attending.

As long as you've been taking precautions & not likely to have the virus I think it'll be OK.

Where I live has more stringent lockdowns than there, it seems.  If I am sick, or likely exposed, I won't go.

Assuming that the warrior car is an 88 id like to buy the coolant tubes if in fair to good condition.  I have to cut and reverse mine to support the 3.6 swap.  Always good to have a set of spares when cutting and rewelding something like these.  If I don't need them after purchase ill hold onto them for club.

How does $30 sound if you come pull them?

sounds like a plan...  I'll join the stripping party... :o

On another note, do you have any of the slide lock fender vents in stock?  if not what's necessary to put in an order?  :)

I have a set made but my jigs for the flanges broke so I can't add the flanges on the back. You'd just glue them on as usual then add some 'glass to the back to reinforce them & seal out moisture. $95 for the pair.
Thanks,
Paul

But... I'm out of materials & won't be able to make any new parts for a while.
