Yes. Baby steps. Will be my first run with the club. I've driven the car about 1,000 miles since I installed engine. Hopefully she doesn't have any surprises for me.

Last Minute Reminder for those who want to caravan up from the Gainesville area, we will meet at th RaceTrac on I-985, just north of Gainesville and be ready to roll out not later than 7:30.  The RaceTrac is at the first traffic light on I-985.  GPS 2410 Cornelia Hwy, Gainesville, Ga.

For those meeting us in Clayton, it will be at the Ingles Markets parking lot.  They have a gas station in the lot.  GPS 176 US-441, Clayton, GA 30525.  We should be gassed up and ready to leave there by 9 AM.

Made it Cornelia for the night. Big shout out to Charlie for finding me an O2 sensor. Hot swapped in the parking lot. On 985 where it starts having traffic lights I stoped at one with a fairly new gmc 2500hd next to me. When the light turned green I pushed the car hard and around 60 the truck passed me. Didn’t realize I was racing. At the next light I really gave it all she had and beat him to 75mph. At the following light he rolled down his window and asked my what kind of Ferrari I was driving 😂 I explained it was a fiero and only had a 4cyl. We both laughed and I beat him again 😂 I’m sure would win the towing contest though.

Hmmm.  My 2500HD was faster than my Fiero in a straight line, but had a gas engine.  The deisel is likely slower.

May have been to scared to punch it. Lot of cops out. But yes it was diesel.

Yup.  Hard to hide a deisel racing.  Lots of noise and smoke.  Deisels take a bit to get going, but could probably accelerate as quickly, if pulling your Fiero.
