Cheap car lift?????

I saw this on Facebook. So I ordered one. I couldn’t help myself. I’ll let everyone know how big a piece of crap it is but who knows.

Do you have summat similar to this https://www.hse.gov.uk/work-equipment-machinery/loler.htm#:~:text=These%20Regulations%20(often%20abbreviated%20to,have%20control%20over%20lifting%20equipment.&text=All%20lifting%20operations%20involving%20lifting,out%20in%20a%20safe%20manner over there?

Here it would need to come with a certificate of conformity and be marked with a safe working load etc.

It says it is made in a factory of ISO blah standards...but what about that actual product?

Our company does calibration and lifting equipment, so I am interested in such things.

Sadly if you were a little bit closer to me I could provide a lift and get it fitted.

How does that work on a Fiero?  The taller part would not seem to have a good place to go.

I’m buying a real lift once I move. Since its PayPal protected I thought it would be fun to order it. I’ll be shocked if anything actually shows up.

The only vehicle I own that this would lift is the Fiero.

When the guy grabed the back to change the tilt, and the front slamed down, I was very startled.

Your version will likely be 1/24th scale.

I don't see any method of changing the width for different vehicles.  It doesn't look like it can be used midway of the Fiero because the floor is too soft to support the car and the contact points would have to be inboard of the cooling tubes.
There are three kinds of men:

1.    The ones that learn by reading.
2.    The few who learn by observation.
3.    The rest of them have to pee on the electric fence and find out for themselves.    Will Rogers

Well, the lift plates are wide, but I wondered about the coolant tubes.  Maybe, if it set on the pinch seam.
