Ray has already gotten the same two girls that carried it last year, but Tim Shannon suggested this guy.

There are three kinds of men:

1.    The ones that learn by reading.
2.    The few who learn by observation.
3.    The rest of them have to pee on the electric fence and find out for themselves.    Will Rogers

If that guy carries the banner, I won't be there.

Attendees so far:

Pat
Blue 86 GT
Ray
Raydar
Whodeanie?
Tennessee-5
Don
Jack Cooke?
Rick Foreman?

Update:
Jack Cooke can't make it.
Rick Foreman rolled his 85GT twice.
Whodeanie--working hard to get it ready.
Hoping Conrad and Johnnie will bring at least 1 car.

Pat, if Peter drives the 86, I'll drive one of your cars for you.

As we do each year, we'll meet not later than 9AM at the Kroger shopping center on Howell Mill Road, off I-75.

Coming South on I-75, exit right to Howell Mill.  Turn right at the end of the ramp and go about 1/4 mile.  There is a bank on the left.  I think it's a Bank of America.  We will meet in the Kroger lot directly behind it.

Coming North on I-75, Exit at Howell Mill Road, turn left and go to the Kroger center on the left.

Coming Ga. 400 South, merge to I-85 South, exit right onto I-75 North.  Exit right at Howell Mill.  Turn left to the Kroger center.

We will need to pull out sometime around 9:30 to get to our parade entry point before other groups get there and block us.  If you are late, you will probably not be able to get through the other groups to join up with us.  Please bring decorations for your cars.  We will not be allowed to throw anything from the vehicles.  To do so will cause them to remove you from the parade.

I will have maps to get us from the Kroger center to the parade entry point.  I haven't been notified of that entry point, yet but I'm expecting it to be at the same place on Ralph McGill Blvd.

After the parade, find your way to I-85 North.  We will go to the Galaxy Diner afterward.  I'll give out my cell number at the parade in case you get separated and need directions.

I think we're down to me and Derek. Julio backed out and Rick has a wedding to go to. I'm not sure about Reese yet it's still up in the air on him.

Even though it's going to be raining later this week, the long range outlook on weather.gov calls for partly sunny and 65 on Saturday. So don't let the rain scare you. Shine up your car and come on down!

yesterday I was able to get most of the car back together. the brakes are done as well. now I have to wait for the body guy to get my deck lid and rear bumper done. if I can get them by no later than wed. I should be able to get them painted in time for the show. I have some clips on the way from the Fiero store for the moldings as well as a set of spacers for the rear wheels they should both be here by tues. the rear tail light panel will not be done in time so I will just reinstall the stock ones for now.
depending on what happens this week even if I have to work all fri. night I am going to try to make it unless something major happens.

Dean, if you get that car done in time, I'll put you right up front and let you lead.  Go light a fire under Ben and bring him along, too.

Right now, we're down to 5 cars.  If I can't get 10, I'm seriously thinking about pulling us out of the parade.  Pat, I'm driving the 86 GT.  Peter's not going to drive it, so maybe we can get someone to drive one of yours.  I'm making calls and sending emails to try to get more people.  Ron Rizzi is out.  He has other commitments.

Ray
Me
Pat 1 or 2
Steve
Don
Dean?
Ben?
Andrew?
