Bridal Veil falls

I lived in Toccoa 15 years ago before moving up to Yankee land. I really felt awkward walking across the new parking lot at 10 degrees with the wind blowing thinking what was I thinking moving away from Gerogia. What a beautiful state you live in. I was looking at your photos from your run to the hills. I would like to know where that falls is located?

Bridal Veil Falls is on NC Hwy 28, US Hwy 64, North of Highlands, and South of Franklin.  You should be able to locate it in this link.  It is pinned on Google Maps.

Great info.  I saw several people looking at this thread.  It took me a while to find the original image.  This was from RFTH 14 in 2009.  Hopefully, this will be helpful for people in the future.

We moved to New England for 7 years.  After a 34 to 54 inch snowfall in 24 hours, we decided to move back down here.  Every road in the State of Rhode Island was closed to vehicles for over a week.  Georgia National Guard snow blowers were flown in to clear Thadius Green Airport in Warwick so they could land the equipment necessary to clear the roads.
