Run For The Hills # 29 for 2024 is already in the planning stages.  This year by popular request, we will be including The Tail Of The Dragon and The Cherohala Skyway.  Plan your itinerary to include us on September 27-29, 2024.  For most up to date information, check this website.  It's easier to find here or on Pennocks Fiero Forum than on the social media platforms.
 
A trial/scouting run will be scheduled for a Saturday in April.  Just one day with no overnight stay.  Likely the 2nd or 3rd Saturday, depending upon the weather.  Stay tuned to our website.
BTW, you don't necessarily have to drive a Fiero.  If what you have can run with an LS or supercharged Fiero, bring it on. If not, we also have a tourist/sightseer's class.

The host hotel for RFTH 29 will be the MicroTel Inn, 81 Allman Dr, Franklin, NC 28734.

Rooms all have two queen beds.  There are no king beds available.  Room rates are $100 per night plus taxes.  There are 10 rooms in our block for arrival September 27 and depart September 29.  Nine are remaining at this moment. I already booked mine.  Reservation cutoff date is September 1, 2024 but you may be able to obtain discounted rates after that date if rooms are available. 

Our planned lunch stop is the TelliCafe in Tellico Plains, Tn. 

Saturday evening dinner is at Graff's Tavern, 579 Depot St, Franklin, NC 28734.  Planned dinner time is about 6:30 PM

I've got a room reserved.  I had some Wyndham points I used, so I don't think my reservation went towards the room count for the event.  I still might not make it.  I have a lot on my plate right now being a full time student, working full time, and dealing with everything else.  I also haven't had time to work on the 3800SC swap, though I think I might have made some headway in getting the original 2.8 to run and idle halfway decent.  I had hoped to have either it going, or my Mustang, but most likely will be in my Focus again.

I need a rough idea of how many are going so I know how many route sheets and packages to make.  There some not on this forum that I know of, but I'm not sure of the rest of you.

Still hoping to come but working down in the Gulf the days before and running out of time but looks promising.   Been fixing stuff one after another trying to get ready.   Just lost the passenger side rack bushing and have one on order from Rodney, should be here in time.  Last thing to fix I believe.   I checked and rooms are still available through all the major hotel sites.
