I woke up once, saw two bright flashes of lightning, heard two very very distant claps of rolling thunder, and went back to sleep.  Apparently lots of rain judging by the puddle in the yard and water in the drainage ditch.  Not even any little springs of pine limbs in the yard.
We were on the very edge of the SW to NE path of the storms and by the time the main body passed over us, it must have somewhat died out.
There are three kinds of men:

1.    The ones that learn by reading.
2.    The few who learn by observation.
3.    The rest of them have to pee on the electric fence and find out for themselves.    Will Rogers

We got only 1.1" of rain and winds around 15 MPH but no damage.

I'm happy that you guys are okay. It was very windy, here. My solidly mounted TV antennas (all pointed towards "civilization") got turned about 45 degrees. But no damage.
It sounded like it rained a great deal, but our rain gauge only showed about 1" of accumulation, so all of that racket must have been wind.
