I'll donate a Phantom Wipe Eliminator for the RFTH raffle. I'll even install it for the winner.

There's just two weeks until The Run and only a few more days to order your tshirt and to get the discount rates on your hotel reservations.

2.    The few who learn by observation.
3.    The rest of them have to pee on the electric fence and find out for themselves.    Will Rogers

I got a new gadget to take on the run. A compact, lightweight HD video camera, and a partly home-made mount for it.

Nice setup, Pat.  I didn't see any vibration from it, either.  Just don't get caught with the screen open so you can see it.  It's against the law to have a video screen in view of the driver.  Just today, the driver who brings Mel's oxygen was given a ticket.  First, they stopped him for speeding, then when they saw the video screen, they wrote him a ticket for that, too.  This is a big box truck and he explained that the screen was for the backup camera.  The officer said that when he's not backing up it should be turned off.

Since mine sits behind me, I hope I can get away with it if I get caught.

If you didn't order your RFTH 15 Tshirt, it's too late.  The order has been placed.  But you still have a few more days to take advantage of the discounted hotel prices.

...It's against the law to have a video screen in view of the driver...

Surely that doesn't apply to Nav systems, does it?

Probably not.  I've never heard of anyone getting a ticket for a gps.  Besides, you don't have to look at it with that lady telling you which way to go. :)

Don't give them any ideas with every city needing to raise revenue.

I reserved my room.  Anybody leaving the Atlanta area at about 4:00 on Friday and who would like to convoy?

I plan to leave earlier in the morning.  Anyone else leaving Friday morning?  I'd like to be there around 2 after stopping somewhere for lunch.

Dean, I'd loan you my 85 except that it needs the rear calipers rebuilt.  The brakes are pretty weak.

For anyone not planning to be there until Saturday morning, The Drivers Meeting starts shortly after 8 AM at the Biltmore Square Shopping Center parking lot. Be sure to have your tank topped up when you arrive.

It's about a 4 hour trip from up here.  With lunch, make it 5.  I wanted to be there around 2, so we'd have to leave here about 9.  For me, the most convenient place is Exit 126 off I-85 where we normally meet at the church.  I can meet anyone anywhere north of Exit 126.

I know this is a long shot, but...I'm looking for an HVAC box(I don't need the heater core or the evaporator) at a cheap price.  Better yet, if you could drag it to RFTH, that would be great!  Thanks.

Send Don an email at aerodonamic at att dot net or Ashby at adfieros at aol dot com.  Surely one of them must have one.
