We had talked about going to The Galaxy Diner.  I just remembered that they have their car show on the first Saturday of the month, so their lot will be crowded.

I suggested my daughter's house since he will be coming right by there to go to Conrad's.  If anyone else has a suggestion, let us know.

3.    The rest of them have to pee on the electric fence and find out for themselves.    Will Rogers

As a City Boy, I've been told that if you drive outside the 285 perimeter you will fall off the edge of the earth...  so all I know are the downtown/midtown places like the Varsity, Silver Skillet, Landmark Diner, etc.

If enough people want to come this way, I will gladly help coordinate a location...  otherwise, just let me know where you plan to meet and I will put on my helmet and oxygen tank and venture to the Regions Unknown in order to finally meet Rob face-to-face for the first time!

So far, you, Tim and Conrad are the only ones that've said they're coming.  I guess it's at my daughter's house.

BTW, anyone coming up I-85, the exit to GA. 316 is Exit # 106.

Fiero GTB just notified me that the car show doesn't start until 4 PM.  Since everyone but me and Conrad are from down that way, would you all rather meet at The Galaxy?

Let me know ASAP so I can notify Robbie.

I was there, and it was a great ride. It only took us 2 1/2 hours to get there and 3 hours to get home. We stopped and bought some roses for mom. I may have to start coming to some of the meetings now. And I'm also getting away from the cane, hopefully this week and it'll be over with. Great bunch of people down there, but I already knew that.

Robbie & Gail:

Thanks for making the drive down. It was good to finally meet both of you in-person.

Yeah, I agree; the GFC is a good bunch of people! We all wish you the best of health; you've made such amazing progress since the accident!

Here's the new link for our new forum. I deleted our old forum, we had to much trouble out of some people.
