I just spoke with Diane Brown at The Dunes and Don's correct on his rates.  $99 for Thursday night, $149 for each Friday and Saturday and $129 for Sunday night.  I checked for lower rates either by phone or online and they're the same rates either way.

Anyone on this side of town, it's shorter to go down through Madison and Millegeville on US 441 and connect I-16 in Dublin.  That's the way I'm going and I'll link up with others in Dublin.

For this trip, everyone be sure to bring your FRS radios.  I-16 can be a boring stretch with nobody to talk to.  Rain or shine, I'll be there.

For the Tybee Island folks, I've calculated the time from Douglasville to Dublin as being about 3 hours.  If those folks stop in McDonough, Exit 218 there's a QT just to the left.  If you refuel there it should get you to Dublin where we will all refuel.

For those out in the East side, I've calculated the time from Lawrenceville to Dublin, going cross-country as being about 3 hours, also.  If we fill up in Lawrenceville, we can make Dublin on one tank, or for safety, refuel in Madison.

Everyone can refuel in Dublin and make the 2 hour trip to Tybee Island on that tank.

With that travel time in mind, what time shall we meet in Dublin?

Who has made their reservations at Pigeon Forge?

Who has made their reservations at Tybee Island?

Room booked for Friday night and Saturday night.
I can't leave Norcross until about 11:45/12:00ish, after which I'll head home first to Buford, pick up the boss and then head on out.

After mapping it out, we'll probably just take I85>285>I75>I16, all highway

I didn't have anything specific planned.  Just play it by ear.  You and Anne should arrive around dinner time, so that's a good start, then a moonlight stroll on the beach.   :-*

Do you plan to brave the rush hour interstate or do you want to take my cross-country route?

Playing it by ear, depends on when we "really" get out of Buford

Trust me Charlie, if Anne and I do the romantic stroll & roll on the beach, it'll be just her and I alone!  ;D
I plan on bringing a blanket, bottle of good wine, a loaf of bread and some cheese

Now, now, now!  I didn't say nothing about a stroll and roll.  Only a stroll that we would all take.  Definitely wouldn't want to interfere in with anything else.  If you show up with a blanket and wine, we'll head out in the other direction.

Right now, it's
Don and Darrel
Raydar
Me and Ray
You and Anne
Theresa has to work but told Jeffrey he could go.
SportCoupe said he lives about 10 minutes away so I asked him to join us for a while.

Of those that expressed some interest, no one else has responded.
