Yes.  It's on row 201.  BTW, when you stripped out the 86 did you get the speaker mounting plates inside the B pillars?  There is an adapter of sorts that must be used.  The Lil' Duke Coupe didn't come with rear speakers so it probably doesn't have the adapter mounting plates.

Kevin donated a radio and rear speakers and thank you for the donation of the instrument panel housing.  The one on the Duke is weather cracked very badly.

don i don't know where you live but if you start looking for another shop theres one in cartersville called   " 41 auto repair service " that will work on fieros. its owned by a mexican gentleman called cirillo. he's installed a water pump for me a couple of years ago and know problems yet. i know its not next door to you but you might keep it in mind for future reference. the phone # is 1-678-431-3629

Second, I need the speaker mounting plates for the 84, as I actually want to have the pillar speakers (which the 84 didn't come with) in addition to the head-rest speakers, sorry.

The duke may have them in the B pillars, but since it didn't have a radio, they may not be there.  If not, I'll find them in a yard somewhere.

OldOne, the Duke has the cluster there.  The housing was sun baked and cracked badly.  Don gave me one that he had removed the cluster from.  Just exactly what I needed.  I can install the 88 cluster into it.

Did the Duke Coupe have speaker seats? The models with those usually don't even have the holes in the pillars if they came with speaker seats.

Only the 84 and 85 had speaker seats and they didn't have the speaker grills on the B pillar trim.  The B pillar speakers began with all 86 models.  It's quite possible that the 86 at pullapart still has the speaker adapters in it.

OK, after shopping and calling around, I think I'm going to try and get the tools I need to drop the engine myself. Not that I want to or even think I'm capable, but after all the BS and prices I've gotten from some of the garages/shops here in this area, I figure I can ruin this car all on my own and don't need their help doing it.

Too bad I never heard back from either Ashby or Lee.

I have followed the threads and know what kind of predicament you are in after the accident. You offering help despite your situation shows the kind of caliber person you are and I truly appreciate it.

Water pump is squeeling again. This is the third WP since Jan.
Still leaks badly

Maybe a Fiero just isn't for me, as I'm running out of patience, time and money.

What frustrates me most is that this is actually an awesome Duke with low mileage (around 40k) and the only reason I bought the car.

I managed to get hold of Lee this afternoon and talked with him about it.  He's not really familiar with the 4's, but he said that Ashby had a 4 cylinder sitting in his shop that we could look at and try to figure out how things are put together.  He said he hadn't called because he's snowed under and wouldn't be able to help for a couple of weeks. 

Mel and I have appointments every day this week so the first day I'll have to go down there with you is Sunday.  Then the next day I will have is Thursday the 17th.
