I checked with the owner of the cherry picker I'm storing and he said it would be OK for you to use it.  We'll be back home tomorrow afternoon if you want it.

Well, at least she is all black now.
ThaDriver has offered his help, so I'll be taking her to his shop sometime this week to see if we can finally put this to rest and then I think I'm going to try and sell the car once fixed. Or sell even if it's not fixed.

don did you ever talk to whodeanie about your duke problems? he has a shop right in woodstock and does everything from "a" to "z" in fieros and hes one our members. hes about to start a thread on PENNOCKS on rebuilding a duke. if you haven't talked to him about your duke problems you should b/4 you go any further. you can send him a personal message by clicking on members and finding his name. dean can probably can help you fix your problem.

Thanks for the info, but at this point it is easier for me to drive to ThaDriver than all the way to Woodstock, but if we can't fix it I'll give him a call, I've got his number.

YEAH!
SUCCESS! Arrived at Paul's today after driving about 50 miles, and obviously running the engine for a while with additive in it did the trick!
She's bone-dry underneath, got back home after another 50 miles and checked, DRY!
Ran at about 180 degrees there and back, no water missing. Did about 75 -90 mph on the way home - no issues.
The sqealing came from my second bad alternator, which Paul noticed right away, got a new one, Paul installed it and she's a nice little driving car again, just idles a bit high. All she needs now is a new coat of paint.

Hey Don,
 Does this mean that you don't need the water pump mounting plate?
BTW... The wheels look great! And I don't know who enjoyed the first ride in 4 years more, Me or the car!!!
