86 Base with ISUZU 5 Speed
« on: February 24, 2011, 08:30:03 am »
I have taken all I need out of this car, but it still has the tranny and engine (bent rocker) in it.
I'm having a towing company come get it next week, so if anybody wants anything from it, let me know.
The tranny and clutch is good, so are the shifter cables and shift assembly. Bring tools and get what you need, next week she'll be gone.

There are a couple of pieces I can use from it.  If the cover over the instrument pod is good, I can use that on the 88 Duke Coupe.  Brake calipers if they are still there.
There are three kinds of men:

1.    The ones that learn by reading.
2.    The few who learn by observation.
3.    The rest of them have to pee on the electric fence and find out for themselves.    Will Rogers

Speaking of covers, how is the one where the shift and ashtrays are? The one in my "new" formula is lousy.

Pat, did you mean the padded cover that goes "over" the shifter/ashtrays???
I actually have 2 or 3 of those, all in decent shape.

pat are you going with the dot matrix covers?

Some of the dot matrix covers have been replaced with earlier car ones. The dash cover is still dot matrix, and, I think, the aux gauge cover.

I don't know if I can make it, since I'll be working on my Formula, but PM me your address.
