I will not be able to make it on the 16th...don't have a car to bring at the moment, plan to have the vert back on the road by the end of the weekend (water pump).

23rd is currently planned to do mods to the Lotus and get it back on the road (suspension tuning to increase the front camber...Chris feels it is too practical the way it is).

31st would be best for me...but I can probably make it on the 23rd if that is what others want.

I assume we are going to ask Chris to stay out of the pic for the shirts?  If so, I ask that I get to be the first to make fun of him and tell him he isn't wanted.  After that, everyone else can just explain that he isn't good enough to be photographed with us.

I don't mind staying out of the picture.  It's kind of like the special olympics....fun to compete, but you don't really want photographic evidence....  ;D

Edit:  For those that don't know me, that was very tongue in cheek.....I like Fieros, but I like giving Greg a hard time more.

Some have said that when you have gone Fiero, you can never get it out of your system.  Proof positive is John Jaworski.  He sold his last Fiero a few years ago, but has occasionally joined us in his new Hemi Head Dodge.  He's also contributed items to our annual RFTH raffle.

Again, this year, John has sent a donation.  In the package is a powder coated exhaust heat shield and a $40 gift certificate from Auto Zone.

John, if you're reading this, Thank You.  Hope you can join us for the club cookout on Aug. 13 and for this year's RFTH 16.

Right now I have 5 cars signed up to do the photoshoot.  That includes mine if someone will go along to drive it while I take the pictures.  That isn't enough.  I need more people to go.  Paint finish isn't a problem.  If you feel your paint isn't good enough, we can position you a little further back in the group.

Right now I have
Don-1
Anne-1
Greg-1
Jerry-1
Me-1

O'Reilly Auto Parts on 2786 Hamilton Mill Road in Buford has commited to a door prize or raffle item for the event.
Their manager asked me to come see him about 2-3 weeks befor the RFTH and we'll go over his "Write-Off Inventory" and he'll let me pick something appropriate for Fieros!

Cool beans!

Unfortunately, Tires Plus on Sardis Church Rd in Buford (being an owned franchise) is only able to offer a locally redeemable prize:
Complete oil-change to include filter and oil - $0.00 Out-The-Door cost

I'm much obliged anyways

I am still working on the final route for RFTH 16.  As I always do, I lay out a base route then refine it to include more interesting roads.  I'm currently looking at a road that will add more elevation and turns, but I would need to go and scout it to be sure it's a suitable road.

If anyone is interested in possibly going up on a weekday sometime in August, let me know.  Probably a Tuesday, Wednesday, or Thursday.  My weekends are pretty full.

Charlie,
I might be able to ride with you on a week day if it's in the afternoon (working at night & sleeping 'till about 1 PM).
Also, I could bring my Indy for the photo shoot if you like. When & where will that be?
Later,

Paul, we're going up to Clayton, Ga. and Highlands, NC.  I'd like to be in Clayton around 9AM on July 31.

For everyone going, please remember to bring your FRS radios.  Communications will be important for the photoshoot.
