Does Georgia usually get earthquakes?

Not usually, but there have been a few light tremors over the years.

From Google Search:
Has there ever been an earthquake in Georgia?
Earthquakes aren't unheard of in the region. A 4.3-magnitude earthquake happened in Georgia in August 1974 several miles west of Friday's quake. Three others of similar magnitude have been felt in South Carolina in the past 40 years, according to the USGS.Feb 15, 2014

The North Georgia area of Trion felt a quake in November; a magnitude 2.5 earthquake struck an area about 100 miles southeast of downtown Atlanta in April 2017; and a 2.5 magnitude quake hit in Augusta later in the month. An earthquake of 3.2 magnitude hit Augusta last June.Apr 29, 2018

We get them from time to time, too.  Eventually, we'll get the big one.

The biggest source of earthquakes in the eastern half of the US is the  New Madrid Seismic Zone, near New Madrid, Missouri. Some "experts" think the recent quake indicates that a big one will happen in that area soon.

Yep.  Not looking forward to that.  It seems far from GA, though.

Our recent shaking wasn't centered in Georgia.  It was in Decatur, Tn, east of Chattanooga, closer to RobsFieros.  It's just that it was felt down here.  News showed security cam video of a lady in Atlanta who was awakened by the shaking.

I found  somebody to fix my seat so I can operate my clutch pedal and start driving it again. I didn't feel an earthquake here.

That's good news.  Before you try to get out on the road, maybe get someone to take you to a big empty parking lot so you can get the feel of it before venturing out on the highway.

No I'm going through town first. You know I'm not going to do that until I get use to it. Plus we're getting our drive way paved.

Hmmm.  I'm hoping to  go to the yard this weekend, then take the ATVs and shoot wils boars.  I'd like nice weather for this.

I like to think of them as free range hogs.

They ruin the fields.  Oh, and they propagate rapidly.  Even worse, some have rabies.

If you killed and ate the meat of one with rabies, could you contract rabies?  I know there's a possibility of being infected as you process the hog, especially if you have any breaks in the skin, but can you get it from eating the meat?

Rabies is usually a summer disease so they may not have it at this time of the year.
